UNLV/CCSD Collaborative Principal Preparation Program
The UNLV/CCSD Collaborative Principal Preparation Program is a master's degree program leading to administrative licensure and the M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. It is an intensive two-year, cohort program with an emphasis on connecting course work to applied, practical experience. Students are paired with master principals from the Clark County School District who serve as their mentors during the two-year program, and students complete over 200 hours of field-based work in administrative activities. The program provides a support system for students to develop a network of professional colleagues within their own cohort group, among past and future cohorts, and with practicing administrators in the Clark County School District.
